Review # 1 was written on 2015-02-28 00:00:00 Jared Ackerman Throughout the first three dozen pages, I thought I might be onto some decently-written desert noir. Then it stalled out in some long drawn-out scenes of boy-meets-girl-in-bar and getting-to-know-you-post-coital conversation and the plot disappeared as quickly as a puddle sinks into Mojave sand. And I'm losing interest faster than a banana turns brown in Barstow. So onto the DNF shelf it goes.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-05-04 00:00:00 Geri Fridy Could not put this down. Gripping, poetic, unpredictable and moving. Expertly crafted noir and love story. Best read I've had in a long time.
