Review # 1 was written on 2015-03-01 00:00:00 Mario Espinoza Yvonne is my step grandma and it was really fascinating to read about her life before she met my grandpa towards the end of this book. Very interesting stories from both women.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-03-13 00:00:00 Derrick Taylor Surviving Shattered Dreams: A Story of Hope After Despair by Yvonne Partyka and Joanne Klinger is a book chronicling the journey that both of these courageous women traveled during and after the ending of their marriages. It is a testament of an inner strength. The book details marital infidelity as well as physical, sexual and verbal abuse and shares how both women have "achieved" peace and joy through Christ since those harrowing days in their lives. I believe that all churches should have this book in their library as a means of support to those hurting women who are in need compassion and care in a similar circumstance.
