Review # 1 was written on 2016-08-07 00:00:00 Adam Goss Well written; but definitely intended for a captive audience. People who know Dr. Hess and want to understand the basis of his philosophy for education will really appreciate this book. It offers clarity to what he is working toward in an administrative role. However, outside of that context, it is probably best suited to other academic academics. It reads more like a trade manual than a tool for public consumtion. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-07-07 00:00:00 Glynis Jenkins Lucid, casual and backed by experience, "Follow the Teacher" is a nice summary of how leadership develops in the classroom and in schools. Well worth reading for educators wondering how to get the best out of their own teaching or their colleagues'. |
