Review # 1 was written on 2014-12-25 00:00:00 Robert Stabile Judy Pfaff is a cool artist and the writing is pretty competent, even if it does drag on after a bit. I'd recommend if you already like her and just want another opinion.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-05-08 00:00:00 Kenneth Phillips Alex Gross' dreamlike art that is at once realistic - and darkly animatedly depressing, with pop culture references, fairy tales, and imagery of Western and Asian art - the combination of Japanese figures in Kimonos and lost-looking Victorian dandies juxtaposed in a background of haunting, surreal landscapes shows how creative and unique this art form (pop-surrealism) can be.
