Susan Naimon Winebrenner '60 Coauthor From the coauthor: If you know of a gifted student or advanced learner who is not being challenged in his or her present school, this model may be helpful in changing that situation. Schools that have adopted this Cluster Grouping Model experience the following outcomes: 1. Advanced learners have a full time program every day. 2. Parents of advanced learners usually opt to keep their children in their home schools. 3. Students who are highly capable but not really advanced have opportunities to move into academic leadership positions. 4. Achievement improves for all students at the grade levels that have grouped all their students according to the parameters of the Cluster Grouping model.
