Review # 1 was written on 2020-04-28 00:00:00 Joseph Cortina I wouldn't normally review a textbook on Goodreads (I wouldn't normally sit in the bed and read the entire textbook, from the first to the last page) but this one is truly outstanding. I wasn't even particularly keen on engineering when I was studying it and Michael Ashby made me love materials science so much that there were moments I had tears in my eyes whilst reading this book. Essential read for every engineer, material scientist or product designer. Do materials have personality? Of course they do!
