Review # 1 was written on 2014-04-11 00:00:00 Lorraine Worthley This is an interesting true story, which I knew from the outset had a happy ending otherwise I couldn't have read it! The author has her children abducted by her Saudi husband and taken to Saudi when their marriage breaks down. What ensues is a story about the determination of a mother to reclaim her kids in the face of terrible adversity. Muslim society and Saudi Arabia specifically show a complete disregard for the rights of women in general and mothers in particular. Sadly this case is not unique as thousands of other mothers face the loss of their children with little hope of ever seeing them again. At least this story has a happy ending and made it for me an enjoyable read.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-07-07 00:00:00 Kimberly Holmes What amazing courage this woman has! She never imagined that her husband would take off with her children to Saudi Arabia because he told her that he didn't like it there and would never return. Imagine her fear when she returns home from a shopping trip to discover her husband had stolen the kids and taken them to the place he said he would never go again! This book is a real page turner and if you liked NOT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER then you will like this one as well.
