Review # 1 was written on 2017-01-15 00:00:00 Paul Refakis Labradors is an informational text by Connie Colwell Miller. This book goes into different aspects of Labradors, from their behavior to how to take care of them. The book touches on how this type of dog is great at hunting ducks and geese and is very active. One interesting thing I found about this book, and many books of Connie Colwell Miller, is that it not only does it have a Table of Contents but it also has a Glossary. This type of book is essential in teaching younger children how a Glossary, Index, and Table of Contents works on a reading level that they can understand. This book would be great for 5-8 year olds with the language that is used but could be easily used to introduce topics like the Glossary in an easier read for older children.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-09-12 00:00:00 Al Carbone Easy reader book which presents information on the Labrador Retriever breed and how to care for it. Nice pictures to go along with the text.
