Review # 1 was written on 2016-02-17 00:00:00 Amanda Atkins Interesting! Looks at 'rede / conseil' and 'gyn / gile' in assorted ME romances > political goals over personal, etc Also contains useful survey of the role of counsel in 13th/14th c. England. Parliaments and bad counsellors and all that.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-03-09 00:00:00 Hope Rashell Sinclair A wonderful overview of the Middle Ages and some of the major works of literature. If I ever get to teach a medieval lit survey, I'm absolutely assigning this book.
