Review # 1 was written on 2020-03-03 00:00:00 Joyce Bowes 3-3.5 A good overall introductions to the writings of various mystics, but many were too 'high brow' for me to feel connected to. I did however find a few gems, and will do further reading on the ones that resonated with me.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-22 00:00:00 Sheila Cook One of my favourite book is Martin Buber's Estatic Confessions, a book I read again from time to time selecting some part that always gives me food for thought. This is book is quite similar in the structure and as for Buber it must be read one piece at a time so you can savour and reflect on what you read. I think it's a good selection of sources but I'd have liked some more information about the mystics that are being quoted. A good book I will read again from time to time. Recommended!
