Review # 1 was written on 2015-07-20 00:00:00 Tony Nurtin I am not any kind of expert with poetry - everything I know is self-taught and I have followed my interest in finding poets. I fell in love with Emily's poems a long time ago as many of them seemed to speak to me directly. However, many of her poems challenged me so I bought this book as a guide. It is a dry read, as you may expect but it has helped me to contextualise Emily Dickinson and has shed some light on some of her poetry. I just wish it could be more accessible and more passionate.
