Review # 1 was written on 2013-02-11 00:00:00 Donald Douglas Interesting survey of the differing spiritual needs of African-diaspora religions and how those needs are met. Makes me suspect I need to cultivate some form of moving meditation. I place this on my "hoodoo" bookshelf because understanding African-American spirituality is absolutely essential to understanding African-American folk magic, let alone being able to use it.
