Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-18 00:00:00 Ruthann Richardson I believe this is one of the best research done on the rabbis of the Talmud, or one of the best ever published. The author brings the names, stories and sources where they appear in the Talmud, being, in fact, useful to anyone... in short:this is a basic tool for any student, whether someone experienced or who are starting the studies in Oral Torah. This book should not be confused with a smaller work published 30 years ago by other authors. This work is far more comprehensive.
