The Our Presidents Series is perfect for elementary and junior high age students learning about U.S. History. Each book chronologically covers the life of the featured president from birth to death. It also contains “interesting facts” that are clearly displayed in the margins, detailed timelines, a glossary, a complete list of our U.S. Presidents with details on each president, and additional Presidential facts and resources for further research. I did feel this particular edition on Woodrow Wilson was a little bit lacking compared to the rest of the series. Also there was a glaring error on page 32 that made me cringe. "On January 8, 1818, Wilson had an opportunity to speak to Congress about his ideas for world peace." No he didn't considering he was not alive in 1818; nor was he president, James Monroe was. The year should have been marked 1918. Considering this is a resource for students the decade discrepancy does make a huge difference.
