Review # 1 was written on 2011-10-28 00:00:00 Stacy Piepenbrink This book is only from the perspective of one school. Therefore, it can only say so much. What's there is fairly interesting, but it fails to address those that do not like portfolios. Although this transition to process-based writing worked for this school, it's unlikely that the same types of issues would even arise at another. With that said, there is some good info to take away here. The only interesting parts were composed by Linda Johnson. |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-03-14 00:00:00 Tristen Waters Thesis research. This is the model of large scale portfolio-based assessment of writing that inspired the one in use at UCCS that I'm studying. This volume is cited in every peice of literature about portfolio-based writing assessment I think. |
