Review # 1 was written on 2017-06-21 00:00:00 Rachel Scarborough Readings on Death Of A Salesman, This is mainly a biography of Arthur Milller a older gentleman who though out his life has made amazing plays and gained lots of fame and fortune. This book also goes into the relationships and different characteristics of the charters in the death of a salesman. This book struck me rather confused at first by the cover it looks like a play and not a long biography of a play director. I became quite bored while reading the book as Arthur's life was nothing short of adventurous. The most note worthy fact I found was that during the viewings of the play the theaters where absolutely pact and was the "talk of the town". As a 16 year old boy I did not find this book interesting to say the least. I would recommend this book to people who like plays and or theater. I would not recommend this book to people who have no clue who Arthur Miller is.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-10-30 00:00:00 Jeremy Anderson More citizens of active democracies should be exposed to this book. It isn't required reading in high school and I am unaware of an effective movie that addresses the many, many prescient issues raised in Huxley's seminal novel of a not-too-distant dystopian future that sounds disturbingly possible. These essays explore Brave New World and I was amazed at how current, how right now - many of the essays were, despite many of them being written in the 50-60s. I picked it up at the perfect time and am really glad I did. If you are surrounded by a sleeping culture speaking in platitudes and cliches, and obediently spouting the zeitgeist's latest catch phrases, and feel like something must be wrong in your zombie environment - this refresher course in a classic could reassure you it isn't just you. Also, Huxley wrote this novel in 4 months. Just in case any writers out there are contemplating ending it all, perhaps you should.
