Review # 1 was written on 2010-01-15 00:00:00 Richard Klingman Best book read on salmon fishing the Quebec/New Brunswick area by author who fished all season and had a prodigious appetite for the sport, and the ability to pay for it. Incredible numbers of fish compared with today, also without the management oversight of today. Told as stories, not a how-to book, in very modern prose by a man who could have gone back in time to enjoy quality that is now faded and less of an adventure.

Review # 2 was written on 2021-09-25 00:00:00 Robert Statsinger Another on of Burton Spillers books that I had to have. Bought it in 1992 and I also only read this twice.
