This will get the label of "Could have been amazing.". The intent of this book was awesome. The removal of religious division to increase unity and remind us that labels and titles have caused unnecessary strife among us. On the other hand I can not approve of intellectual dishonesty behind the guise of the greater good. We have too much of that in the air as it is. The claims of one monolithic kingdom controlling the African continent completely ignore historical scholarship and the great historical empires' legacies. How can you admire Nubia, the Igbo, Zulu, Asante etc. but claim that divided/separate nations are the result of European influence and colonization? We can be great and unify without the revisionist history or false teaching. If not than we are no better than the dogma and doctrines that we seek to move past.

This is a good starter book for anyone looking to gain a basic understanding of what Melanin is, the role it plays in the ability to perceive through use the 5 senses (Seeing, Hearing, Tasting, Touching, & Smelling) and how Melanin is produced in the body.
