Billy is scared at first until Dad tells him to be brave: the creatures want only to play with him, not play him up as lunch. And wouldn't you know: Billy's dad is.....Tarzan the ape man? Seriously? But then it's a kids book about what kids fantasize about: a superhero of their choice gently helping them overcome fear. I believe it's a healthy way of self talk, and this book too can help. Three stars This book is full of jungle love! Oh-we-yo-we-yo!
