Review # 1 was written on 2020-05-02 00:00:00 Jack Larmer I noticed this on the shelf tonight, after hearing a goodreads friend's dog was unwell, it made me think what wonderful creatures and friends dogs are. This was a favourite bedtime read and beginner reader. A simple story of a family who has a friends dog to stay for the day. Wonderful illustrations and a sentence of text on each page, gets across the delight of a canine visitor who doesn't know the rules and what's more, doesn't care. This book really gets across how much fun it is to have a dog around. Great observations!
