Review # 1 was written on 2015-05-07 00:00:00 Matt Dickie I found this information book to be very interesting. It included diary entries, maps of their journey, animals facts, as well as stunning pictures of the land. This book would be awesome to use for a social studies lesson about Lewis and Clark. You could talk about their discoveries, the politics that went along with getting the Louisiana Purchase, as well as a geography lesson of the states. I would recommend this book for students that have an interest in discoveries, nature, landscapes, and the history of Lewis and Clark. This information book was helpful by how they broke up the different parts of the journey such as Part One being Nebraska and Iowa. They also included an epilogue, author's note, bibliography, and index. |
