Micah has a very special stuffed animal bunny named Bunny Rabbit. Bunny Rabbit is in desperate need of a bath so Micah and his mom was her. Even after a long soak Bunny Rabbit is still full of stains and mother can no longer repair the her old ears. Micah's mom said that it is time to get a new stuffed bunny but once they got to the toy store Micah could not part with Bunny Rabbit. On their way back home they get milkshakes and Micah reminds she still loves him even when he is all sticky and full of stains. I one the themes I think this book has is that even though some people have flaws and differences you should still accept them. This is shown in the book when Micha decides he can't let go of of Bunny Rabbit even though she has numerous problems. I believe it is important to teach these things to children because a lot of people are quick to judge even when they don't know much about someone. I gave this book five stars because I think it has a great message. The message was shown through a very creative way that many kids can relate to. Since, many children have that one special toy or blanket that they don't like to let go of they may understand how Micha is feeling.
