Review # 1 was written on 2013-08-19 00:00:00 Glenn Murphy A great introduction into the experimental method of IR. This book is suited for people just starting out: the basics are covered well without the book being cloying and afterwards it's lovely to read about the various IR methods, spectral analysis and so on. A multitude of spectra of various molecules/complexes are shown and explained. Highly recommended. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-05-26 00:00:00 James Kennedy This is perhaps the most useful took the Gamma Spectrometrist can ever own, aside from the requisite equipment. Contained within this book are the equations, step by step explanations, and details needed to understand Gamma and X-ray Spectrometry for both Crystal and HPGe Detectors. I have considered buying a second copy (not cheap either) just to have a backup. I keep this book wrapped in plastic to protect it. I'd lend my gamma spectrometer to a friend before I lent this book. |
