Review # 1 was written on 2015-06-10 00:00:00 John Falocco A surprisingly helpful guide to writing for job applications. The guide is made up of a short (~25 pages) section on letters followed by several (>100) samples . A shorter resume guide and set of samples follows. Although I am not an expert, I am occasionally a grammar nerd, and I learned a few tricks, clarified a few known techniques, and refreshed my thoughts on approaching selling myself to a future employer. I felt the typography and page design in the resume section was a little weaker than I would expect, especially if you have prior knowledge, but it would likely be sufficient for the average need. In general, this guide is refreshing and a reminder that help in seemingly simple things is a good idea. |
