Review # 1 was written on 2011-11-09 00:00:00 Carlos Fuentes I read this book as part of an online course called "Missional Living" from the Christian Women's Leadership Center. The author used stories and testimonies from her own life and people she knows to illustrate what it looks like to live our lives day-to-day surrendered to God and as a missionary wherever He's placed us, whether we are full-time missionaries or not, because as a Christian, we ARE full-time missionaries, and God can use us daily, wherever He leads us, not just to tell others about Him and the salvation He gives, but so that they can climb the mountain themselves and experience Him and His teaching and freedom, and also begin sharing with others. She uses the Bible and the life of Jesus as she teaches us and reminds us of what we are called to do for all the world. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-02-05 00:00:00 Bil Hodges This book is for ministry wives, new in the ministry. Not for old soldiers.A good tool book for new women in the ministry. It has it's ups and downs but overall the writer is sharing how the work is about the people and how not to run on empty tank. She made it sound so easy to live with critic but thank God that our sufficiency is in Christ Jesus!!! |
