Review # 1 was written on 2014-05-12 00:00:00 Jean-claude Freymond This is an excellent book for parents who have children going thru a medical crisis/chronic illness. One of the saddest things for a parent is when they can't "fix" their child. Cancer, chronic illness, serious injury...these are all beyond a parent's ability to "fix." As you walk with your child thru these things, the tips in this book can be very helpful. I read it years ago at the beginning of our "chronic illness" road. I've also sent this to other parents when they found themselves walking the same path.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-06-15 00:00:00 Elaine Beal I picked up this book on the 25 cent shelf at the used book store at our library. It was one of those books where I read a chapter here and there, and although there was some insight and the authors' antidotes were entertaining for the most part, I would not say my life was changed one bit by this book. In fact, I don't like how the authors almost tell the reader to "settle" for what you have, and don't expect anything more. I will pass this book along, but I would not recommend buying it.
