Review # 1 was written on 2015-07-13 00:00:00 Jeromy Hutchinson I have referred to this book so many times. You would think having lived most of my life in the neighboring states of Missouri and Texas, that I would know all the flowers I see around here. But no! The mountains of the Ozarks are at the intersection of many climates, topographies, and soil types, so there is a great variety of plants. I would give it five stars, but I do see some flowers that I can't find in the book.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-04-30 00:00:00 Kenneth Hoffacker This is one my books used beyond belief-- frayed,stained with fragments of flower pressings. Carl Hunter, was one of Arkansas' great conservationists and largely responsible for getting the state highway department to delay its summer mowing program so wild flowers could be viewed by all the travellers on our highways and interstates. We miss you Carl!
