Review # 1 was written on 2017-06-30 00:00:00 Chris Feliciano I really enjoyed readings these books with the boys! We learned so much about the history of the Natchez Trail, horses, Choctaw culture, as well as courage and perseverance. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-12-25 00:00:00 Michaela Brown 1st-5th Grade Seeley used more detail than ever in her pages top to bottom pages of her magical moonballs. Every item in the house was given fun inviting smiles making the everyday households items personified. The colors are very solid and every shade of the rainbow. The text of the book has a nice rhyme and rhythm throughout the story. Each page also was numbered to make 40 pages filled with descriptive words of the household items being woke up from the moons sneeze. Also, there was a intro to start out the story to let the reader know that the moon was lonely and just wanted to smile on the world. The book is appealing to young readers because they can look at the moon and imagine the moon smiling at them. Astronomy Lesson Idea: draw picture of the phases on the moon. |
