This is a well constructed book on patchwork and quilting. It covers the basics of the different types of quilting patchwork and applique. There is also a section at the end showing some amazing finished quilts that should make you either want to cry or get your sewing machine out.

A great resource for the art teacher, or anyone interested in printmaking. I LOVE printmaking, but I never make the time for it. I am thankful to the teachers who introduced me to this. So, I would also like to pass this on to my students if I can. It talks about all types of printmaking, from monoprints to woodcuts, dry point to lithographs and all in between. I do wish that they covered chine-colle... because this is the type of printmaking that calls to me... printing on top of colorful paper! Toward the end of the book, they cover themes, which was great to see. How can you use printmaking to show mood, line, clour, etc. Loved it.
