Review # 1 was written on 2009-09-12 00:00:00 Kasey McGarry 3/5 This was just alright for me. I will say it is apparent that the author has a definite knack for logic, as well as an ability to write about a wide variety of people, places, and circumstances. However for me I struggled with the fact that a wide majority of these puzzles relied less on deductive ability and moreso on having a very specific knowledge set (like okay in what universe am I expected to know that tailors only meaure pants on the RIGHT side?). The solutions were fun to read, but I didn't go into any of these puzzles actually expecting to solve any of them.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-07-18 00:00:00 Nancy Bernier This was not so much "mysteries to solve" as it was "logic puzzles for you to crack," and many of the puzzles required specialized knowledge or observation skills of background information to such a degree as to require something akin to autism (á la Rainman, if you will). I expected way more murder, gore, and organized crime from the cover art; I must confess I'm disappointed with this (except for a handful of the puzzles).
