Review # 1 was written on 2019-04-21 00:00:00 Gianluca Baldocchi In reading the forward, I learned that this author was not going to write about what she described as the second phase of transition - an adult child marrying and moving away. This is exactly what I was looking for. So instead I skimmed the book, reading select sections on Sons and Mothers, and portions of other sections. In addition, something I found somewhat irritating, frankly, was that so much of this was written from the perspective of a married couple and how that influenced a mother’s transition. As a single parent from day one, this - as it often is - was so one-dimensional that it minimized the value of a lot of what Ms. Shapiro wrote. For these reasons I gave this only 3 stars: an okay book that could have been so much better.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-21 00:00:00 Jake Clark This one was awesome, the characters were a lot better than the ones from waterdeep, and Belmer is a fucking badass.
