The layout was organized by state. The guide offered contact information for the specific Directors in the department. I had to use some post it’s and create a spreadsheet to keep my own thoughts organized as I was researching cost by credit hour/ passing rates on certification exams/ cost of living/ and clinical sites. I would highly recommend the guide to anyone advancing their nursing degree. They update this manual so make sure you have a newer edition. The accreditation of programs is something I also made a direct connection with the director to clarify. For people looking to become an RN, accreditation of a nursing program matters- you won’t be able to take the N-CLEX- RN if your program losses or doesn’t have accreditation.
