Review # 1 was written on 2021-02-22 00:00:00 Richard Converse Fairly good historical sourcebook for the Ad&d (2nd edition) rulesset. One of the better in this series, it is a bit shallow and it's main stumbleblock is that it had to be watered down to be palatable for the moral majority and tends to tone down the cruelty and savagery of the crusades. The author is open about doing this, and doesn't really shirk away from the historical realities (to his credit), but it would be hard to get a longterm campaign going in this setting |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-22 00:00:00 Jim Kirchefer not the whole set. ruleset and screen. |
