This book brought back a lot of memories for me. I copied the way my Dad would watch the games on TV - keeping stats on a yellow legal pad. A nostalgic trip down memory lane not only with my childhood basketball heroes but also with their opponents- Terry Dischinger, Skip Thoren, Cazzie Russell. Since it is about the Golden Age, the infamous Minnesota game of 1972 is only mentioned in passing as part of a conversation with a player at the end of the book. I was really hoping to hear about that game from the players and coaches point of view and also about Coach Taylor's retirement from the game. It did give me a greater appreciation for Coach Taylor. Overall, it is an easy, casual read especially for fans of Ohio State basketball.
