Review # 1 was written on 2014-10-22 00:00:00 Sebastian Weiner How can one go on with life as usual after reading this book. Dr. Morgan does a hauntingly beautiful series of pieces to make us vividly aware of the plight of what should be our most treasured asset...our children. She speaks as a voice for the broken, abused, malnourished, neglected, violated, and disenfranchised children. How my heart hurt and tears ran while reading this book. My cry was Lord, what can I do besides pray to make a change to care for your heritage. This book is not for the pansies. The language is simple but direct and is peppered with scriptures and children's Sunday school songs. It is hard to read while hearing "Jesus Loves the Little Children" in your ear. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-08-02 00:00:00 Kevin Tigers This book is for me a beautifully written allegory that touched me deeply and made me think. |
