Review # 1 was written on 2020-01-11 00:00:00 Patrick Hennessey This book has beautiful pictures of Nebraska. Guessing by the perspective, most of them seemed to have been taken from an airplane. It also seems as if lonely farm spreads, Scottsbluff National Monument and Chimney Rock were recurrent subjects. The most interesting photo was of the railyard at southeastern Plattsmouth (today's Rhylander Park), clearly taken a long time ago as the Burlington shops closed in the mid 1960s. While there were a few pictures I really liked, I missed some diversity. Nebraska has much more to offer! |
