Review # 1 was written on 2013-04-15 00:00:00 Suhair Humeid Delicious, simple recipes and no pretension. A large proportion of the recipes have six or fewer ingredients and the preparation instructions are often no more than a paragraph - and that's all that is needed. This book made me seek out vegetables I've never bought in my adult life just to try some of the methods of preparing them. There's some charm and character in the writing too. This simple recipe book remains one of my favourite used book store impulse purchases.
