Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-20 00:00:00 Dennis Eslinger Delicious, simple recipes and no pretension. A large proportion of the recipes have six or fewer ingredients and the preparation instructions are often no more than a paragraph - and that's all that is needed. This book made me seek out vegetables I've never bought in my adult life just to try some of the methods of preparing them. There's some charm and character in the writing too. This simple recipe book remains one of my favourite used book store impulse purchases.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-12-11 00:00:00 Melissa Laughlin 4.5 stars I have about 50 different cookbooks. This one is one of my favorites. I have used it the last 11 months approximately once or twice a week. It makes it so easy for me to plan various holidays menu. Easy to follow recipes.
