Review # 1 was written on 2020-08-07 00:00:00 Anthony Derisi From 1948 I loved this so much at first. The modern gothic house, upside down off a canyon. The paintings. But I found the whole Mixed Up At Birth mystery hard to swallow. I know they didn't have DNA tests back then, but still. There was a murder plot, and that was good.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-06-14 00:00:00 Timothy Perez More suspense than mystery as the killer is revealed quite early in the book. Love this cheesy cover, but it's not the edition I read. Published in 1948 and somewhat dated.
