Review # 2 was written on 2020-11-03 00:00:00 Adnan Rosario I like the theories this book provides, on the idea of food combining. It's very gimmicky, as I guess many diet books are. I don't diet, but I've actually incorporated lots of these food combining techniques into my normal eating habits. For instance, eating fruit ALONE, first thing in the morning to clean out your body a bit--nice if you can do it (I do at least a few times a week). I do notice that my body seems to digest better when I eat according to food combining techniques, though I couldn't be as extreme as the book is. But it helped me be aware of what I'm eating, and I think it encourages more simple eating. I also like that if you adopt it as a lifestyle, nothing is off-limits, it's just HOW & WHEN you eat what you eat. |
