Review # 1 was written on 2018-08-30 00:00:00 Barney Me A fun, nostalgic cookbook for my cookbook collection. A lot of the recipes are on the retro side and they all have fun names like Skipper's Dream Sandwich, Spudnik Cucumber Surprise, Mud Bog Pie and Bingo Bango Bongo Black Bean Soup. There is lots of Gilligan's Island trivia, jokes, facts, stories, episode guide, photos, and cast bios. A real geek out for Gilligan's Island fans. There is an entire chapter just on Coconut Cream Pies, every cast members recipe plus an Island Native Coconut Pie, Consolidated Chocolate Coconut Pie, South Seas Coconut Pie, Fifi Lafrance's Coconut Pie. Oh, so many pies to try.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-01-27 00:00:00 E.h. Koch The best part about this cookbook was the tidbits you learn about backstage with cast and crew while she filmed Gilligan's Island. The recipes, although some are okay, all have strange names like weenie linguini.
