Review # 1 was written on 2019-05-03 00:00:00 Clairette Simard An excellent guide to the Escalante region, with a great variety of trips. Lots of interesting historical vignettes and asides, and the right mix of holding your hand vs. sending you out to play on your own. The only thing I would like to see is some more concrete distances, rather than hiking times, and some GPS coordinates thrown in here and there. And maybe a summary table of hike lengths, difficulties, etc. In all, a very useful - and entertaining - book!
