Review # 1 was written on 2014-11-26 00:00:00 Gert Claasen Brilliant collection of (at that time) controversial and groundbreaking analyses of a variety of folklore types, both American (his specialty) and that of other cultures. When first encountering Dundes in grad school, I became a fan of his approach and still find him thought provoking all these years later.
