Review # 1 was written on 2016-01-12 00:00:00 Becky Ruechel Nicely presented and an easy read. Good comparisons between the two men as well. However, there was a lot of personal opinion colouring the interpretation of events, and a couple of factual errors. One for die-hard André readers, but there are better books out there for the general reader. |
Review # 2 was written on 2010-12-05 00:00:00 Richard Leach This was an odd one. Really, really good in some aspects. Not so in others. It almost seemed like a throwback to the early Queen books, in that the PUZZLE is the main attraction to the story. And what a puzzle. A murder where 9s show up everywhere! Even the murder weapon resembled a nine. The trouble comes with the actual solution. Since there are so few characters (and most of them have been killed!) it's not hard to figure out the murderer. Hell, flip a coin! |
