Not bad. Wish it had more.

Barlow's second volume of plays by American women is larger and more representative than the first, but still contains only two major standouts- "The Women" and "The Little Foxes," both made into classic movies in the first half of the century. The influence of these works and others still continues to loom over the film and TV industry, though Hellman in particular is somewhat neglected as a stage dramatist.
