Review # 2 was written on 2010-05-05 00:00:00 Marinescu Marius I just started reading this book by Beth Roy. My organization is having a Peacebuilding Town Hall with one of our board members, Dr. Terrence Roberts, as the main panelist. He is one of the Little Rock Nine, and will be speaking on race relations and public education. This book looks at the integration of Central High in Little Rock from a variety of oral history perspectives. I really appreciate Dr. Roy's perspective on exploring different perspectives in a conflict rather than attacking them. Her book, Some Trouble with Cows, was one of the core readings in my Conflict Resolution studies. Will update on my take on the book when I finish it . . .
