I really enjoyed this book. I wish there were more details about Isabel's journey, but apparently there's not much that's actually known. It's incredibly frustrating. The author gives several details about her personal journey, which are just enough not to detract from Isabel's story. It would've been better with pictures; because pictures of the rain forest make everything better.

A mixed bag. Morice drawn is diverse styles, but I'm not convinced that he draws well. The real question, however, is does he illuminate this poetry with his illustrations. He used a number of styles in his attempts to do this as well. I find the results uneven. Some few are quite wonderful. Some few are banal. Most are somewhere in between.
