Review # 1 was written on 2008-01-12 00:00:00 David Lass Great book to help those interested in history find out of the way and major battle sites here in Texas. Provides location, summaries and outcomes of the conflicts. It's a good book to take along in the car and do a little exploring.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-01-01 00:00:00 Jay Cooper Mostly read this as a form of research and I was a little disappointed. It's ALL OVER THE PLACE. Timelines are constantly jumping and I would like if each chapter actually had a focus. There was some useful information here for me, but it could have been communicated better. Giving this 3 stars because I don't want to drag down the rating too much. More like a 2.5.
