Review # 1 was written on 2018-08-27 00:00:00 Joel Lalonde Being a student of International Relations, I found this book disrespectful, distracted, and full of tunnel visions. I respect "every religion" and promote interfaith harmony. Unfortunately, in the name of freedom of expression, the authors have insulted the basic moral values especially by adding a complete chapter named, "Militant Islam". Like seriously? Just on the basis of few, you cannot blame the whole religion. It is the highest level of barbarism and ignorance. Remember, because of Ku Klux Klan you cannot say or coin "Militant Christianity". Authors should respect every religion, including Islam. And they should write rationally, not emotionally. Note: the book is much opinion oriented, not good for general study. |
Review # 2 was written on 2010-01-25 00:00:00 Michael Persuitte Remarkable historical content! I didn't realize how important this class was to me until it was over. This text is another inexhaustible resource. |
