Review # 1 was written on 2013-08-24 00:00:00 Craig Garcia I actually read this book's new edition or companion "Lapsit...II", but that doesn't seem to be on goodreads. This was a great intro book for how to put on lapsit services for ages 12 months-1 year. It covers length of time, structure of storytime, outreach, rules, felt boards, puppets,action rhymes, songs, books and more. There are lots of other resources to get more information, which I'll definitely be checking out. This book doesn't delve deeply into any one area, but it's an excellent starter book. I would have like a little bit more structure in the way the sample story-times were laid.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-08-10 00:00:00 Christopher Ryan Very good, but see Linda Ernst's Lapsit Services for the Very Young II for a more comprehensive and updated resource. Lapsit Services for the Very Young II is great--check it out to use when you start a baby st program.
